Divisional Resource Development Director (7236)

The Salvation Army is seeking an experienced Divisional Resource Development Director in the Arkansas/Oklahoma area to lead, manage, cultivate, solicit, and steward the major gifts program in the division.

Key responsibilities:

This Divisional Resource Development Director position will lead, train, and mentor a team of professionals to raise funds to enable the mission of The Salvation Army in the Arkansas/Oklahoma area.

• The candidate will develop and nurture current and prospective donors, including individuals, foundations, government agencies, and corporations in an assigned geographic region of the Division.
• Respond to inquiries and communicate with donors, advisory organization members, Salvation Army employees and leaders.
• The position has direct oversight for a team of professionals and will be responsible for training, mentoring and accountability of its members.
• The role is based in Central Oklahoma and requires regular travel throughout both states, including occasional overnight travel and participation in Territorial and National conferences
