Divisional Safety Specialist (West)
Overall Job Summary
The role supports the Divisional Safety Manager by executing, tracking, and reporting on all store-level safety data and initiatives. This role develops and maintains safety dashboards, scorecards, OSHA documentation, audit and security analytics, and tracks training, certifications, corrective actions, and claims to ensure data accuracy and compliance. The position also serves as a key operational support during incidents and emergencies, overseeing disaster response protocols, property and trailer claims, and emergency readiness across all stores.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)
Assist/Support Divisional Safety Manager on execution and follow up all safety data in stores.
Create and update all safety dashboards to include claim history, incident trends, hazard summaries and all audit results highlighting opportunities
Prepare divisional reporting scorecards
Analyze and update all audit related security results and work with ACT team to create missions based on locations and trends
Maintain OSHA documentation and ensure data accuracy for reporting.
Track completion of safety training, certifications, and corrective actions
Oversee disaster response protocols for all stores; serve as point of escalation during emergencies.
Processes all property claims (large/small under deductible).
Maintain emergency readiness resources and ensure stores understand seasonal risks.
Manage all rental trailer claims (damage, theft, etc.)
Required Qualifications
Experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred but not required. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.

Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities
Ability to follow company procedures, work instructions, and policies.
Excellent judgment, and analytical, problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills with a detail-oriented approach to work.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize work tasks with minimal supervision.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Interaction with others requires skills to motivate, inspire and persuade.
Ability to work independently as needed.
Ability to assess compliance gaps and enforce policies and procedures.
Intermediate level presentation skills.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
