Description
We are seeking a Field Operations Valet to join our team. This role is responsible for actively managing bike and scooter inventory levels at designated high-demand stations, ensuring smooth inflow and outflow of rideshare assets throughout the shift.
As a Field Operations Valet, you will work directly with members of the public to assist with docking, undocking, and general system questions, while maintaining constant communication with the Dispatch team to coordinate pickups, drop-offs, and rebalancing support. You may also be required to move assets between nearby stations to support system balance and demand fluctuations, serving in a roamer capacity as needed.
This position requires strong situational awareness, clear communication skills, and the ability to make real-time decisions to support system performance and customer experience. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract; your season will end 6 months after your hire date.
Daily Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
Maintain optimal inventory levels at assigned stations by managing inflow and outflow of bikes and scooters
Communicate with Dispatch to coordinate asset pickups, drop-offs, and move requests
Monitor station capacity and proactively request support before stations become full or empty
Assist members of the public with docking and undocking rideables
Provide friendly, professional customer service and answer system-related questions
Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and escalate larger concerns to the appropriate team
Ensure station areas remain organized, safe, and accessible
Accurately report station conditions and operational updates throughout the shift

Requirements
Leadership experience, ideally within the transportation, logistics, or operations field. Prior experience with bike share is preferred.
Intermediate computer skills, the ability to use technology provided by the company.
The ability to perform assigned shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Reliable access to transportation to and from work.
The ability to lift 75 lbs.
