DMS Project Manager

Summary

Our client is seeking a Project Manager to lead Document Management System (M-Files) implementation projects. This role determines the overall project strategy, coordinates with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives, and drives projects through execution to implementation while leading and directing project teams using Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead M-Files DMS implementation leveraging Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid methodologies.
• Define project objectives and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Create, execute, and maintain project plans including resource scheduling and milestone planning.
• Provide PM oversight for third-party vendors and manage project budgets with appropriate approvals.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies and efficiently identify and resolve project issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of project management work experience.
• Extensive experience in cross-team collaboration, vendor management, and executive engagement.
• Experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills and expertise in documenting project management processes.

Preferred

• BS/BA degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience within the Commercial Insurance & Brokerage industry.
• Experience with document management systems, particularly M-Files.
• Solid understanding of application programming, database, and system design.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for executive-level presentations.
• Local candidate preferred with the ability to travel as needed.

This is a 6-Month Contract opportunity with extensions with our Kansas City, MO client.
