The Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is seeking an Intake and Analysis Supervisor to lead the Intake & Analysis Work Center within the Operations Support Unit of the Law Enforcement Division!
This position is only open to current DMV employees.
The Law Enforcement Intake & Analysis Supervisor oversees the agency's Intake & Analysis Work Center, directing the initial review and assessment of investigation requests submitted by DMV employees, customers, and internal and external law enforcement partners. The incumbent ensures staff effectively monitor law enforcement requests and the Caliber RMS, including performing Caliber RMS administrative system functions, and that all incoming requests are received, researched, analyzed, and routed to DMV law enforcement personnel in a timely manner.
In addition to operational oversight, this position performs data analysis and develops reports to support unit operations and decision‑making. This includes applying Power BI expertise, including building and updating Power BI reports and dashboards, to provide actionable insights that support investigative and operational priorities.
The incumbent is also responsible for procuring, managing, and issuing law enforcement equipment, uniforms, law enforcement credentials, and external resources necessary to support investigative operations and organizational objectives. This includes utilizing eVA and BoA Works systems to ensure compliant and efficient procurement, reconciliation, and financial tracking.
The supervisor is expected to identify, recommend, and implement process improvements within the Intake & Analysis Work Center to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and service delivery across all operational functions.
Because this role supports sensitive law enforcement functions, the selected candidate must obtain VCIN certification within 30 days of appointment to perform required VCIN‑related duties.
