DMV Processor / Title Clerk – Keeler Toyota of Westport
Keeler Toyota of Westport is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced DMV Processor / Title Clerk to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone with a strong knowledge of Connecticut DMV title and registration processes who thrives in a fast-paced automotive dealership environment.
Location: Westport, CT
What You'll Do
- Process vehicle titles, registrations, transfers, and lien paperwork in compliance with Connecticut DMV regulations
- Submit and track DMV paperwork for new and used vehicle sales
- Verify the accuracy of title documents, bills of sale, payoff information, and supporting paperwork
- Coordinate with sales, finance, accounting, and management teams to ensure timely processing
- Resolve title discrepancies and follow up with lenders, customers, and state agencies as needed
- Maintain organized records of all title and registration transactions
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with dealership policies and state compliance requirements
- Assist with inventory title management and vehicle funding documentation
What We're Looking For
- Automotive dealership experience required
- Previous DMV, title, or registration processing experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of Connecticut DMV title and registration procedures
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines simultaneously
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency with dealership management systems and Microsoft Office preferred
