Dock Builder

As a Dock Builder on our residential and marine construction team, you will contribute to the creation and maintenance of docks and related structures. Working within a small carpentry team, you will apply your skills in framing, woodworking, and installation to projects that blend residential craftsmanship with marine applications. This role involves accurate measurements, blueprint interpretation, and adherence to safety standards, with opportunities for skill development and leadership growth within a stable work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform framing and woodworking tasks for residential and dock construction projects
• Accurately measure and layout project specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints to guide construction
• Install materials and fixtures following project plans
• Maintain safety compliance on site
• Conduct repair and maintenance work as needed
• Maintain and care for carpentry tools and equipment
• Operate barges and cranes as needed, though not required regularly

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience or willingness to learn carpentry skills
• Experience with woodworking and blueprint reading
• Proficiency with power tool operation
• Strong measurement and layout abilities
• Good physical stamina for on-site work
• Knowledge of safety compliance standards
• Effective teamwork and problem-solving skills
