Job Description: Dock Greeter

Location: Mt. Pleasant, SC, 29464

Job Summary

The Dock Greeter will be responsible for greeting and directing customers as they arrive at the dock. They will ensure that customers are aware of safety procedures and that they have the necessary equipment for their activity. The Dock Greeter will also assist with equipment rentals and sales, as well as general dock maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they arrive at the dock
• Provide safety instructions and ensure customers have necessary equipment
• Assist with equipment rentals and sales
• Perform general dock maintenance tasks
• Answer customer questions and provide information about activities and services
• Ensure a positive customer experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work weekends and holidays
• Experience with water sports and equipment preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in outdoor conditions
