**Role Objective

**

• Lead and support dock associates (freight handlers) during assigned shifts to ensure freight is loaded/unloaded safely, accurately, and on time

**

**

**Key Responsibilities

**

• Supervise, coach, and train dock associates; document performance and interactions as needed

• Ensure safe, efficient loading and unloading of freight; address and correct unsafe behaviors

• Assist hands-on with loading/unloading and dock operations as needed

• Print and label freight, input shipment data accurately, and match manifest and parcel numbers

• Operate a forklift to sort and stage freight in designated areas

• Enforce safety, security, and cross-dock procedures

• Manage conflict resolution between team members or customers and escalate issues when required

• Protect company assets and confidential information per company policies

**Qualifications

**

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Prior supervisory experience required

**Experience in warehousing, shipping/receiving, transportation, or related fields

**
