As the Dock Supervisor, you are the "boots on the ground" leader responsible for fleet excellence and team energy. You’ll act as the Club Manager’s right hand, ensuring seamless daily operations and a premium member experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Lead dock hands, delegate tasks, onboard new hires, and provide performance feedback.
- Fleet Excellence: Ensure boats are "show-ready," perform pre-departure checks, and oversee cleaning.
- Operational Oversight: Manage daily reservations, fuel logs, and equipment inventory.
- Maintenance & Logistics: Identify damage, perform minor mechanical tasks (oil/filters), and trailer boats.
- Member Experience: Act as a primary point of contact for members, resolving issues and conducting tours.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1+ years in a supervisory role (marina or hospitality preferred).
- Technical Skills: Proven ability to trailer and launch boats; basic mechanical aptitude.
- Certifications: Valid Driver’s License and Texas Boater Safety Certificate (required within week 1).
- Attributes: High energy, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure.
Schedule & Requirements
- Availability: Full availability for weekends and summer holidays (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day).
- Hours: 40–50 hours/week in-season; 30–40 hours off-season.
- Physical: Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in Texas summer heat.
