Malone Workforce Solutions is currently hiring an experienced Forklift Operator for a warehouse facility in Mt. Pleasant, SC. In this hands-on role, you will operate industrial trucks as well as manually move, stack, load, and unload materials. If you're safety-conscious and have solid experience handling heavy materials, this is the job for you.
Forklift Operator Highlights:
Location: Mt Pleasant, SC
Schedule: 8-hour shifts; Monday-Friday 8a-4:30p
Pay: $17-18
Environment: Warehouse/industrial setting
Forklift Operator Duties:
Operate forklift to transport materials
Load and unload goods both manually and using forklift
Manually position materials and secure them for transport
Perform basic vehicle maintenance and refueling
Follow safety protocols and signal workers for safe discharge/loading
Inspect equipment regularly and report maintenance needs
Requirements & Qualifications
Must have at least 2 years previous experience operating a forklift.
Valid driver's license a plus
Must be willing to work in a non-climate controlled warehouse
Ability to lift 70+ lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks
Comfortable using levers, controls, and safety equipment
Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
Must be able to stand, bend, and twist for extended periods
Must be able to pass drug screen and background check
