Join us!Job Description:This job is responsible for preparing and reviewing documentation in accordance with policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include independently performing research and discussing loans with line of business partners with confidence and knowledge. Job expectations include independently working with a range of complex documentation and interfacing with company vendors, legal counsel and line of business partners to ensure world-class documentation accuracy.Responsibilities:Ensures accuracy of documentation, timely delivery of documents and elimination of controllable re-workMaintains a high level of accuracyAssists Market Leader in the facilitation of team meetings, training and quality review as neededWorks independently to perform research and discuss loans with line partnersLOB Description This job is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and validating loan documentation in accordance with established policies, procedures, and applicable requirements. The role independently researches documentation questions, identifies and resolves discrepancies, and partners with internal stakeholders to support accurate and timely loan documentation.Key responsibilities include applying sound judgment, managing multiple priorities, and communicating effectively with line of business partners, vendors, legal counsel, and other stakeholders. The position requires strong attention to detail, ownership of assigned work, and a consistent focus on documentation accuracy, risk awareness, and the reduction of preventable rework.ResponsibilitiesPrepares, reviews, and validates loan documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established policies and proceduresIdentifies documentation discrepancies, researches potential solutions, and takes appropriate action to resolve or escalate issuesEnsures the timely delivery of documents while maintaining a high standard of quality and accuracyWorks independently to research loan and documentation-related questions and communicates findings clearly to business partnersPartners with line of business contacts, vendors, legal counsel, and other stakeholders to obtain information and resolve documentation mattersManages multiple assignments and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and appropriate documentation of work performedApplies sound judgment and escalates complex, unclear, or higher-risk matters through the appropriate channelsIdentifies opportunities to reduce preventable rework and improve documentation quality, consistency, and efficiencySupports team meetings, training, quality reviews, and process-improvement activities as neededMaintains awareness of applicable procedures and requirements and incorporates changes into daily workRequired QualificationsPrior experience in banking operations, loan servicing, loan documentation, commercial credit, or a comparable financial services environmentDemonstrated ability to interpret and apply procedures, requirements, and supporting documentation accuratelyStrong attention to detail, with a consistent focus on quality, accuracy, and reducing preventable reworkAbility to independently research and resolve documentation issues while recognizing when escalation or additional partnership is appropriateStrong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with business partners and other stakeholdersAbility to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated ownership, sound judgment, and problem-solving abilityProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and ExcelHigh school diploma, GED, secondary school credential, or equivalent experienceDesired QualificationsPrevious commercial loan documentation or commercial credit experienceWorking knowledge of Loan IQ or a comparable loan accounting or servicing systemExperience reviewing legal documents, entity structures, organizational documents, or other loan-related documentationLegal, paralegal, quality review, or documentation-control experienceExperience supporting training, team meetings, quality initiatives, or process-improvement activitiesExperience working with business partners, legal counsel, vendors, or other stakeholders to resolve documentation mattersSkills:Attention to DetailAnalytical and Critical ThinkingDecision-Making and Sound JudgmentLoan Documentation ReviewLegal Structures and Legal FormsOral and Written CommunicationProblem SolvingPrioritization and Time ManagementResearch and Information GatheringRisk AwarenessStakeholder PartnershipRecording and Organizing InformationMicrosoft Office ProficiencyMinimum Education Requirement: High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalentShift:1st shift (United States of America)Hours Per Week: 40 Learn more about this role Apply × To proceed with your application, you must be at least 18 years of age.
