Join us!Job Description:This job is responsible for preparing and reviewing documentation in accordance with the bank's policies and procedures to facilitate closings with the client and ensure lien perfection. Key responsibilities include working on highly complex documentation, supporting Loan Administrators with their primary responsibilities, and assisting the Market Leader in directing workflow and performing quality assurance. Job expectations include working with company vendors, legal counsel, line partners, and clients to ensure world class documentation accuracy.The Mortgage Post Close Quality Control Specialist performs quality control reviews of residential mortgage loan transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to approved credit terms, regulatory guidelines, and internal procedures. Supporting the Bank's Ultra High Net Worth lending portfolio, this role is responsible for identifying documentation and process deficiencies, coordinating corrective action, and ensuring loans are ready for servicing and ongoing portfolio management. The position requires strong mortgage operations knowledge, critical thinking skills, and the ability to effectively communicate findings, document results within systems of record, and collaborate with business partners to meet established quality standards and service level agreements."Internal employees who are currently working from home are still eligible to apply. However, if selected for the role, you may be required to work onsite in accordance with the workplace excellence policy"Responsibilities:Ensures that loan documentation and lien perfection meets bank policies and procedures and that work products are delivered in an accurately and timely mannerLeads documentation, due diligence and collateral perfection, and monitoring of loan documentation for a specific market segmentReviews documents for accuracy, timely delivery, and necessary research requirements to ensure documentation reflects the appropriate transactional information and elimination of controllable reworkReviews the loan approval and loan documents prepared by counsel to ensure consistency and adherence to requirementsDesigns a robust filing and organizational process to assist in completing primary financial booking and initial loan fundingWorks closely with Client Managers, Credit and Portfolio Officers, agency management, internal and external legal counsel, and many internal operational support units to ensure seamless execution of transactionsReview Closing Disclosures and Change of Circumstance documentation for TRID compliance, validate fee accuracy, and loan terms, and identify tolerance violations and required tolerance curesIdentify, document, and track loan defects, exceptions, and compliance issues through resolutionMonitor and meet established internal and external Service Level Agreements (SLAs)Required Qualifications:5+ years of experience in mortgage operations, construction lending, commercial lending or related financial services rolesKnowledge of TRID, Change of Circumstances, tolerance cures, and Closing Disclosure reconciliationAbility to read and interpret Credit Approvals and validate loan documentation against approved terms and conditionsExperience reviewing titles, insurance, collateral, trust documentation, and complex vesting structuresStrong attention to detail, risk assessment, communication, and documentation skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet service level expectationsAbility to Work Independently and Collaboratively in a Team EnvironmentDesired Qualifications:3+ years' experience as Auditor, Quality Assurance, Closer, Loan ProcessingDemonstrates mortgage loan operations, closing, or quality review experienceBachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related fieldPrior experience reviewing construction budgets, inspections, or builder contractsSkills:Attention to DetailBusiness AcumenCustomer and Client FocusDue DiligencePrioritizationAdaptabilityData Collection and EntryOral CommunicationsResearchWritten CommunicationsAnalytical ThinkingCritical ThinkingAccuracyMinimum Education Requirement: High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalentShift:1st shift (United States of America)Hours Per Week: 40 Learn more about this role Apply × To proceed with your application, you must be at least 18 years of age.
