Document Control Assistant

Document Control Assistant- $19/HR

Our client is seeking a Document Control Assistant in the Conroe area. This is a temp-to-hire, full-time, on-site day shift role. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, experience filing paperwork and solid computer skills — Adobe experience is a plus. Responsibilities include creating and compiling documentation, coordinating with internal departments and vendors, and maintaining hard copy and electronic records per company and HSE policies.

Job Responsibilities:

• Create, compile, and produce applicable documentation
• Communicate with internal departments and vendors
• Create hard copies and electronic copies of applicable department documentation
• Ship applicable documentation if necessary
• Perform other work-related tasks as required
• Comply with all HSE policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of one year of experience in document control or office-related activities
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to type at least 45 WPM
• Proficient computer skills using MS Office, Word, and Excel
• Excellent organization skills and the ability to use time efficiently to prioritize assignments
• Ability to work with a team and efficiently multitask
• Strong attention to detail

Top Skills Required:

• High attention to detail
• Experience filing paperwork alphabetically and/or numerically
• Must be computer literate
• Previous experience with Adobe is a huge plus
