Position SummaryThe Document Control Coordinator is responsible for maintaining and controlling quality assurance, engineering, and manufacturing documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and proper revision control. This position supports the organization's Quality Management System (QMS) by managing records, coordinating document changes, and assisting with internal audits and compliance activities.Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience or equivalent on-the-job training.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, or other quality management standards preferred.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesPrimary Functions
Maintain and control engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and quality documentation.Manage document revisions and ensure proper document retention and revision control procedures are followed.Process engineering and quality change requests and update associated procedures, work instructions, and related documents.Maintain quality assurance records and ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and readily accessible.Prepare reports, maintain records, and analyze data to support quality and operational objectives.Support and uphold the Quality Management System (QMS) and participate in internal audit activities.Review and update manufacturing traveler templates and implement approved traveler changes.Distribute controlled documents to appropriate personnel and ensure obsolete documents are removed from circulation.Review vendor certifications and documentation for compliance with company and customer requirements.Assist departments with document control processes and provide guidance on document management procedures.Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management.
