Responsibilities

  • Support the migration from a legacy shipping system to a Shoreship solution integrated with Infor Syteline.
  • Extract, cleanse, and transfer shipping and customer data from legacy systems into the new platforms.
  • Build and maintain databases for customers, third-party logistics (3PL) partners, and less-than-truckload (LTL) carriers.
  • Maintain electronic data interchange (EDI) data, including weights, dimensions, and other key shipping attributes.
  • Validate data accuracy, completeness, and system functionality prior to go-live to minimize errors and disruptions.
  • Collaborate closely with Shipping, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure data and processes align with business needs.
  • Document processes, workflows, and configuration decisions to ensure alignment with system setup and future reference.
  • Build databases to support incoming, in-process, and customer quality inspections within the ERP environment.
  • Define inspection criteria, checkpoints, and workflows to support quality processes.
  • Support the implementation and integration of quality processes within the ERP system.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with data entry, document control, or ERP systems.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills for data manipulation, validation, and reporting.
  • High attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy and consistency.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across Shipping, Sales, Operations, and other teams.
  • Ability to follow structured processes and document workflows clearly and accurately.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with Infor Syteline or similar ERP systems.
  • Experience in logistics, shipping, third-party logistics (3PL), less-than-truckload (LTL), or EDI environments.
  • Background in supply chain or quality systems.
