Description:
A major financial services company is looking for a Content Strategist to support a large-scale website rebuild. In this role, you will help transition from traditional, page-based content to structured, modular, and AI-ready content. You will work across content, marketing, and technology teams to define content models, metadata, taxonomy, and governance that power scalable digital experiences. Your goal is to make content findable, reusable, personalizable, and optimized for AI-driven experiences such as search, personalization, and content automation. You will also help content creators and marketers adopt new workflows through clear documentation, training, and playbooks.

Taxonomy, metadata, and controlled vocabulary development
Headless CMS and modular content systems
AI-ready content strategy (LLMs, semantic search, RAG, personalization)

Playbook/documentation development for content creators
Requirements for the role:
5+ years of experience in content strategy, content architecture, or content engineering
Hands-on experience with content modeling and structured content implementations
Experience with CMS platforms and digital experience ecosystems
Proven experience in taxonomy, metadata, and content governance frameworks
Experience supporting large-scale site rebuilds or digital transformation programs
Direct experience with AI-enabled content, search, or personalization systems
Ability to translate AI requirements into practical content structure decisions
Strong communicator who can bridge strategy and execution across teams
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Science, UX, or a related field (preferred but not explicitly required)
5+ years of relevant experience in content strategy, content architecture, or content engineering
Or equivalent combination of education, experience, or training
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
Experience in financial services or highly regulated industries
Familiarity with design systems and component-driven UX models
Experience contributing to content migration at enterprise scale
