Job Description:
Document Control Specialist (Contract-to-Hire | ~6 Month Project)
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Document Control Specialist to support a 6-month project with the potential for permanent hire based on performance and business needs. This role will work closely with the document control team to update and maintain critical product and manufacturing data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Update and maintain product records within internal systems (QCBD, QAD, and Excel)
- Perform high-volume data entry, including copying and pasting part numbers and related information
- Review and remove obsolete data such as outdated tooling and material information
- Accurately input and validate new data to ensure system integrity and compliance
- Cross-reference information between systems to ensure consistency and accuracy
- Follow established document control procedures and data management standards
- Maintain organized digital records and track updates as required
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and data accuracy goals
Qualifications:
- Previous experience with Microsoft Excel (required)
- Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience in document control, manufacturing, or quality systems preferred
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as QAD or similar platforms is a plus
- Ability to manage repetitive tasks while maintaining focus and efficiency
- Strong organizational and time management skills
