    Description

    Mountain Projects is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Document Processing Clerk to support the efficient management of company records and documentation. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, processing, organizing, and maintaining both electronic and physical documents while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with company policies. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to maintaining high standards of data integrity.
    Key Responsibilities

    • Receive, review, sort, and process incoming documents for accuracy and completeness.
    • Scan, index, upload, and organize documents within the company's document management system.
    • Verify document information and resolve discrepancies by coordinating with appropriate departments.
    • Maintain accurate electronic and physical filing systems for easy retrieval.
    • Perform routine quality checks to ensure documents are complete, accurate, and properly categorized.
    • Retrieve documents and records in response to internal requests.
    • Assist with document retention, archiving, and disposal in accordance with company policies and recordkeeping requirements.
    • Update tracking logs and databases with document status and related information.
    • Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive company and client information.
    • Provide administrative support and assist with other office duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
    • Previous experience in document processing, records management, administrative support, or data entry is preferred.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
    • Strong typing and data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

    Preferred Skills

    • Experience with electronic document management systems (EDMS).
    • Knowledge of records management and document control procedures.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to quickly adapt to new software and office technologies.
    • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
