Document Reviewer

Location: Remote, Washington, DC

Duration: 12+ months

Seeking for a Document Reviewer to support litigation and legal matters through document review, legal research, and case preparation. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced legal environment while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review legal documents for responsiveness, relevance, confidentiality, and privilege.
  • Ensure document review accuracy and consistency.
  • Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation, including discovery and case preparation.
  • Conduct legal research using industry-standard platforms.
  • Prepare and assist with legal documents, including memoranda and motions.
  • Execute searches within document review platforms to locate relevant information.
  • Organize and maintain legal documents and case files.
  • Support document production and ensure compliance with established protocols.
  • Collaborate with legal teams to meet project deadlines.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive legal information.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience reviewing legal documents in support of litigation or investigations.
  • Knowledge of federal and state court systems and litigation procedures.
  • Experience conducting legal research using tools such as Westlaw and Lexis.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
  • Familiarity with document management and review platforms.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using Relativity or other eDiscovery/document review platforms.
  • Experience with document review quality control (QC) and privilege review.
  • Knowledge of eDiscovery processes and litigation support workflows.
  • Experience performing keyword, Boolean, and advanced document searches.
  • Previous experience supporting complex litigation or government legal matters.
