    Role Synopsis

    The Documentation Clerk ensures supplier and internal documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with quality, safety, regulatory, and contractual requirements. This role maintains document control processes, manages records within the ERP system, and supports operational efficiency by ensuring all required documentation is reviewed and approved prior to shipment.

    • Review, evaluate, and approve supplier quality documentation to ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and QHSE requirements prior to shipment.
    • Maintain, control, and audit supplier and internal QHSE documentation, ensuring accurate filing and data entry within the ERP system.
    • Ensure all documentation is correct and signed off.
    • Follow all safety codes
    • Perform other tasks as assigned

    Qualifications/Work Experience

    Education

    • High School Diploma, GED, and/or equivalent documentation review experience and/or training.

    Experience

    • Working knowledge of personal computers, office machines, Windows, and MS Office
    • Basic knowledge of English language usage, spelling, and math.
    • Ability to multi-task, identify, and solve problems as well as manage multiple priorities
    • Ability to work well in a team environment
    • Strong communication skills

    Physical Demands

    • Ability to walk, stand, bend, sit, lift, push, pull and move objects for 8-12 hours per day.
    • Ability to lift and carry files, packages, boxes weighing up to fifty (50) pounds.
    • Speak/hear and use specific vision abilities such as close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
    • Capable of properly using standard office equipment, including telephone, and a computer with keyboard.
    • Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Includes steel toe shoes and safety glasses. Additional PPE may be required based on location and task.

    • Work will mostly be performed indoors in a controlled environment.
    • Some exposure to the manufacturing and shop areas with exposure to unusual elements, such as dirt, dust, fumes, unpleasant odours and/or loud noises.
