Our client, a
leading consumer products and food manufacturing company, is looking to hire a
Technical Services Documentation Specialist in
St. Louis, MO (50% remote and 50% onsite).
Pay Rate Range: $36–$41/hr., depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; potential for hybrid work
Duration: 3 months with potential for extension or conversion
Responsibilities:- Manage documentation and compliance activities related to IP certifications, including Kosher, Organic, Rainforest Alliance (RFA), and partner certification programs.
- Support manufacturing sites with IP-related issues and coordinate with certification bodies to facilitate timely resolution.
- Maintain internal records, external certification databases, and audit documentation to support compliance and audit readiness.
- Partner with Product Category, R&D, Commercial/NAE, Supply Chain, MDM, and Regulatory/Compliance teams on certification requirements and business initiatives.
- Support new product and supply chain projects by ensuring certification requirements and documentation are completed accurately and on time.
- Manage partner formulation documentation from receipt through issuance to manufacturing operations.
- Maintain formula trackers and quality system records to support execution, inventory, and document control.
- Represent Quality in partner formula discussions and coordinate documentation requirements across cross-functional teams.
- Identify documentation gaps or discrepancies and support resolution as needed.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree preferred in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in quality, technical services, manufacturing, documentation, or a related environment.
- Working knowledge of SAP; experience with Infor Optiva is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation and records.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to team objectives.
