Associate degree in electronics, mechanics, documentation, or a related technical field preferred
1 to 3 years of experience supporting manufacturing documentation, technical documentation, or production environments
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, CAD files, and component specifications
Familiarity with PLM and PDM documentation systems as well as revision control management
Working knowledge of Bills of Materials (BOMs), part specifications, and ECO processes
Ability to create and maintain assembly documentation, work instructions, and test procedures
Proficiency with MS Office alongside the ability to learn Factory Logix, Checkpoint, and Circuit CAM systems
Strong organizational skills focused on document control, master registers, and digital file management
Familiarity with IPC-A-610 and ISO documentation standards preferred
Collaborative capability to work effectively across Engineering, Production, and Quality teams
Responsibilities
Translate engineering drawings, schematics, and customer specifications into clear, standardized work instructions and production-ready job documentation
Lead the digital transformation initiative by converting historical analog processes and hard-copy files into modern digital documentation systems
Manage the NPI documentation lifecycle by reviewing customer files, validating Bills of Materials (BOMs), and updating part records within the ERP system
Own the document control and version control process by managing documentation updates through formal Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and engineering red-lines
Author, review, and maintain comprehensive assembly Job Books, test procedures, and production documentation packets to support active manufacturing milestones
