Build the infrastructure that supports the mission

Our client—a well-established General Contractor with a robust federal portfolio—seeks a Construction Delivery Manager to lead secure-site projects in Northern Illinois. You’ll guide efforts from preconstruction through closeout, translating stringent federal requirements into predictable field outcomes. Compensation up to $140,000 DOE with benefits.

Imagine this scenario

Ahead of a critical inspection, you align submittals with contract specs, confirm procurement lead times, and collaborate with the superintendent to resequence work. You meet the government representative on-site, verify quality and safety, and return to update the schedule and cost forecast—mitigating risk while keeping the team focused on the next milestone.

Impact you’ll own

  • Drive full lifecycle delivery: preconstruction planning, buyout, execution, and closeout.
  • Control schedule and budget; track milestones and recover variances proactively.
  • Coordinate field operations with superintendents, ensuring safe, efficient progress.
  • Maintain strict compliance with federal standards, contracts, and specifications.
  • Partner with government reps, architects, and engineers to resolve technical issues.
  • Produce complete documentation, reporting, and turnover packages.
  • Consistently achieve on-time, on-budget, to-spec results.

Experience that sets you up to thrive

  • 5+ years as a GC-side Project Manager.
  • Federal project experience; Naval or VA facilities exposure preferred.
  • Strong command of federal compliance and quality processes.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors.
  • Demonstrated success meeting schedule and budget objectives.
  • OSHA 30 preferred.
  • Clear communicator with strong leadership and organizational aptitude.
