Description

OverviewOwns the lifecycle of Enterprise Architecture (EA) engineering using the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) to align USSOCOM capabilities with Joint and DoD requirements. Advises on network architecture at HQ, TSOC, and Component levels.Essential dutiesGather, analyze, and validate information exchange requirements; develop/coordinate communications plansSupport planning meetings, OPTs, technical exchanges, exercises (JELC), OPLANs/CONPLANsConduct liaison with communications planners and mission partners (Components, TSOCs, partner forces)Advise on network architecture design at headquarters, TSOC, and Component levelsReview/assess impact of DoD, Service, Joint, DISA, or IC architecture guidance on the SIESupport exercise design (MSEL injects, training objective validation)EducationRequired: Bachelor's degree Substitution: Relevant experience performing SOW §3.6 functions for a Government agency in lieu of formal educationYears of experience (recommended)8–12+ years enterprise/network architecture or communications planning 4+ years DoDAF (or equivalent EA framework) in DoD/Joint environments SOF, TSOC, or contested-environment (CCE/DDIL) experience preferredSkills & knowledgeDoDAF views/products; information exchange requirements; communications planningJoint planning guidance; exercise/contingency communications supportNetwork architecture concepts across HQ / TSOC / Component echelonsAbility to brief senior leaders and coordinate across mission partnersFamiliarity with SIE and SOF enterprise architecture driversCertificationsNone required by Appendix B Preferred: DoDAF/EA certification, CISSP, or equivalent architecture credentials; DoD 8570/8140 if network admin access requiredSecurity & other requirementsActive TOP SECRET; TS/SCI preferred On-site performance; travel as required for exercises/planning eventsThis position is contingent upon contract award.
