About the Role:
WagMore Animal Hospital is looking for a talented and passionate Dog Groomer to join our caring team in Saint Charles, MO! This is a fantastic opportunity to do what you love every day — making pets look and feel their best in a supportive, animal-first environment. Responsibilities:

• Perform full-service dog grooming including bathing, drying, brushing, and haircuts
• Trim nails, clean ears, and provide other finishing grooming services
• Assess each dog's coat condition and recommend appropriate grooming treatments
• Safely handle dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized grooming area and equipment
• Communicate with pet owners regarding grooming preferences and coat health
• Coordinate with veterinary staff to flag any skin, coat, or health concerns observed during grooming

Requirements:

• Prior professional dog grooming experience required
• Proficiency in breed-specific cuts and grooming styles
• Ability to safely restrain and handle anxious or reactive dogs
• Strong knowledge of grooming tools, equipment, and grooming products
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Compassionate, patient, and calm demeanor around animals
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
