About the Role:Michigan Dog Training Inc. is looking for a passionate and skilled Dog Trainer to join our team in Plymouth, MI! Responsibilities:- Conduct individual and group dog training sessions using positive reinforcement techniques
- Assess dog behavior and develop customized training plans for each client
- Educate pet owners on training methods, commands, and behavioral management
- Track and document client and dog progress throughout training programs
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming training environment
- Build strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention
- Stay current on best practices in animal behavior, obedience training, and canine psychology
Requirements:- Prior experience in dog training, animal behavior, or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client education
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments safely
- Patient, calm, and confident demeanor in high-energy environments
- Reliable, punctual, and professional with a genuine passion for animals
