CAR REQUIRED.
MUST BE LOCATED WITHIN 10 MINUTES OF ONE OF THESE SERVICE AREAS: Capitol Hill, Columbia City, South Lake Union, Eastlake, Beacon Hill, Madison Park, Madrona.
Trails and Tails offers one on one dogs walks and sits to clients around Seattle! Our main focus is setting up walkers with reoccurring clients so that you get to bond with the dogs and have a consistent schedule.
Job Responsibilities
- Car is REQUIRED. Although dogs will not go in your car, our clients can be spread out and its the only way to maximize how many you get to in 11-330 window.
- Please live within 5-10 minutes of one of these service areas: Capitol Hill, Columbia City, South Lake Union, Eastlake, Beacon Hill, Madison Park, Madrona.
- Walk dogs that may pull consistently
- Walk for hours at a time
- Work with dogs that may be shy or aggressive initially
- Assist with pet sitting visits, including feeding, administering medication, and providing companionshipMonitor dog behavior, noting any health or behavioral concerns to report to clients or supervisors
- Uphold high standards of animal restraint and safety protocols at all times
- Engage with clients professionally, offering updates on their pets’ well-being
- Ability to handle animals safely, including heavy lifting when necessary (e.g., lifting large dogs)
- Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients and owner

Qualifications
- Professional experience with animals is a bonus but not required. But must be comfortable around animals.
- Must have a car
- Must live within our service areas
- Must be over 18
- Must be comfortable reading and writing in English
- Must be communative
- Must have smart phone
