The Kind of Work Youll be Doing:
Analyze complex donor requests related to account issues, provide special handling of Give site donations, designations, adjustments, and account access, and provide timely responses.
Create transactions and process all electronic fund transfers and credit card gifts for Cru based on ministry partner requests. Ensure that transactions are processed accurately and the potential for errors is minimized.
Research and resolve transaction errors, contact donors to correct issues, and reprocess gifts related to electronic fund transfers and credit card debits.
Collaborate with US Tech and external partners (i.e., representatives from banks, automated clearing houses, and total system services, etc.) to identify errors, discuss findings, propose resolutions, resolve processing errors, and ensure accurate transaction files.
Assess and test donation system upgrades and implementations as needed. Identify areas based on system knowledge and interconnectedness that would enhance performance and efficiency.
Enter, prepare, and submit credit card donations received by mail and process them into the donation management system, verify accuracy, and archive them into image screening software.
Educate staff and donors on current donation processing procedures, IRS regulations, and tax-deductibility eligibility.
Maintain daily statistical volume reports, track phone, email, and mail counts, and ensure error rates are within acceptable limits.
