Department Summary
The Donated Body Program at the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth supports education, research, and professional training through the ethical management and stewardship of anatomical donations. The program oversees donor registration, preservation, utilization, inventory management, and final disposition while maintaining the highest standards of donor dignity, regulatory compliance, and accountability. Through partnerships with academic programs, researchers, and healthcare professionals, the program provides essential resources that advance health sciences education, clinical training, and scientific discovery while honoring the profound gift of donor participation.
Position Overview
The Donor Care Coordinator will work closely with program staff, cremation providers, and donor families to ensure continuity, accuracy, and dignity throughout the donor''s journey through the program. The position requires exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, discretion, and the ability to approach human remains and donor materials with professionalism and respect.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor''s degree and one year of related experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
