Key Responsibilities:
- Develop compelling donor communications, proposals, case statements, funding priority materials, and stewardship content that inspire engagement and philanthropic support.
- Partner with Philanthropy Managers, Directors, and grants staff to create personalized communication strategies that cultivate, solicit, retain, and steward donors.
- Create impactful donor recognition materials, acknowledgment letters, celebration communications, impact reports, and fundraising presentations.
- Gather and share stories, accomplishments, donor highlights, and program outcomes that demonstrate the impact of charitable giving.
- Manage communications and marketing efforts for donor appreciation events, fundraising luncheons, VIP gatherings, and giving society initiatives.
- Coordinate multi-channel communications including email campaigns, print materials, website content, social media messaging, sponsorship materials, and presentations.
- Develop communication templates, scripts, and tools that support fundraising and donor engagement strategies across the Foundation.
- Review and approve donor-facing communications to ensure consistency, accuracy, brand alignment, and effective messaging.
- Manage stewardship and donor recognition projects, including design, production, vendor coordination, and fulfillment activities.
- Maintain donor communications calendars and support related photography, video, and creative content projects.
- Analyze donor engagement insights and feedback to enhance donor experiences, communication effectiveness, and retention efforts.
- Manage project budgets and vendor relationships while ensuring deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
- Provide direction, coaching, training, and performance feedback to assigned team members in accordance with organizational policies
Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in communications, marketing, donor relations, fundraising support, event management, or a related field.
- Experience creating communications materials across multiple platforms and audiences.
- Experience developing persuasive written content, donor-facing communications, or marketing campaigns.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
- Nonprofit, healthcare, fundraising, donor relations, or philanthropic communications experience preferred.
- Experience supporting fundraising or development teams preferred.
