The Donor Engagement & Events Coordinator creates meaningful donor experiences by coordinating events, stewardship activities, and personalized touchpoints that support strong discovery and cultivation of deeper donor relationships. They ensure fundraisers are fully prepared and positioned for success by managing event logistics, donor information, and engagement opportunities with care and professionalism.

We're Looking For You:

The Donor Engagement & Events Coordinator strengthens donor relationships by designing and executing meaningful engagement opportunities, high-quality events, and personalized stewardship experiences. This role focuses on providing the support for frontline fundraisers to successfully build relationships with prospects and donors-through thoughtful event strategy, curated interactions, tailored communications, and well-coordinated donor touchpoints.

The Coordinator designs and delivers donor experiences that spark interest, demonstrate meaningful impact, and drive fundraising success. They oversee event planning, produce engagement content, and coordinate seamlessly with internal partners.

What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Experience producing high-touch, donor-centric events such as salons, small gatherings, or exclusive cultivation experiences, including logistics, timelines and stakeholder communication.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and details simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft donor-appropriate communications and briefing materials.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with frontline fundraisers, leadership, and cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, finance).
  • Experience working within budgets, processing invoices, and coordinating with vendors or contractors.
  • Proficiency with common office and productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace) and comfort working in a donor database or CRM system.
  • Ability to work some evenings or weekends as required for donor events.
  • This is a hybrid position, generally working from our Reno office at least two days per week.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of the philanthropic cultures and donor engagement norms of regionally distinct donor communities of Northern and Southern Nevada, specifically the Las Vegas region and Reno/Sparks/Carson City areas.
  • Prior experience preparing staff and leadership for donor interactions, including run-of-show documents, talking points, or briefing materials.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality, professionalism, and hospitality standards.
  • Experience coordinating volunteers, interns, or temporary staff.
  • Familiarity with nonprofit CRM systems (e.g., Blackbaud, Salesforce, Raiser's Edge, or similar).
  • Multi-lingual skills and multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience appreciated.
  • Ability to use existing technology (e.g., Outlook, BBCRM, Teams, Mail Chimp) to produce desired results.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage repetitive tasks when needed, and maintain professionalism.
  • Knowledge of current trends in fundraising, events, or donor engagement.
  • Working knowledge of the basics of charitable gift planning.

This position requires a valid driver's license and compliance with TNC's Auto Safety Program. Employees may not drive Conservancy-owned/leased vehicles, rental cars, or personal vehicles on behalf of the Conservancy if considered "high risk drivers." Salary Information:

The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $71,500 - $80,000. This range only applies to candidates whose country of employment is the USA. Where a successful candidate's actual pay will fall within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including, for example, the candidate's location, qualifications, specific skills, and experience.
