Position Purpose: The Donor Information and Data Coordinator contributes to the integrity and maintenance of advancement information through gift entry, reporting, data and donor information entry, and administrative support within the Advancement department. This position is responsible for supporting both Direct Mail and telefunding campaigns, including but not limited to producing reports and performing queries and exports/imports in the database. The person in this position will review and analyze data for accuracy, create and update donor database records, and enter a variety of gift and donor information with a high level of accuracy and efficiency. 

Position Details:

•    Pay: $21 - $23 per hour

•    Department: Advancement    

•    Reports to: Individual Giving and Donor Communications Officer

Key Performance Areas:  

•    Responsible for database entry and maintaining accurate donor records. 

•    With direction from the Individual Giving Officer, manage data components and reporting for the year-round telefunding campaign.

•    Work collaboratively with Individual Giving team on direct mail and acknowledgement process.

•    Act as main data steward for the Arts Partnership, a separate 501(c)3 organization of which the Ordway is a member.

•    Work with Individual Giving Officer to identify, create, or update digital giving methods (donation pop up with ticket purchase, special fundraising landing page, etc.).

•    Assist with preparation of Advancement events, as needed.

Other Qualifications:

•    High school diploma or equivalent, required. Bachelor’s degree, preferred. 

•    Three to five years of work experience in data entry, including list pulls and reporting.

•    Demonstrated ability to set priorities and work with diplomacy and efficiency in a high-demand, fast-paced environment. 

•    Ability to perform complex mail merges.

•    Experience working in a customer/donor database system. 

•    Experience with telefunding preferred.

•    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher and Word).

•    High degree of sensitivity for confidentiality.

•    Ability to compose, write, and edit documents with appropriate grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, clarity, and creativity. 

•    Elementary math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals, and fractions, along with elementary statistic skills and a basic understanding of analytics.

•    Ability to identify, evaluate, investigate, and offer alternative solutions to problems.

•    Ability to anticipate and plan for the unexpected and adapt as needed.

•    Ability to work effectively in a collaborative/team setting.

•    Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.

•    Ability to demonstrate positive, proactive, and self-motivated behavior.

•    Ability to represent the Ordway in a professional manner.
