Position Summary

This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement that may include a partially remote work location, consistent with System Office policy. UNC Chapel Hill employees are generally required to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned duty station.

The Arts and Sciences Foundation seeks a Donor Relations and Communications Intern for an 11-month paid internship. Under the direct supervision of the Director of Donor Relations and Compliance, the Donor Relations and Communications Intern will write and edit custom stewardship reports for donors sharing the impact of their support; assist with the collection of fund information from students, faculty and staff; help process and track the team's reporting progress; and design and help coordinate a range of digital and print fundraising materials, including stewardship reports, proposals and concept papers, event invitations and programs, social media content and more.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Management Preferences

Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects at once

Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva

Familiarity with Associated Press (AP) style

Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
