Employment Opportunity: Oak Middle School POSITION: Door Monitor - Evenings 2026-2027 School Year

Shrewsbury Public Schools is currently accepting applications for a Front Door Monitor at Oak Middle School.

We are interested in candidates who are invested in the achievement, equity, and access of all learners in and beyond the classroom.

The hours for this position are 3:15pm-7:15pm, Monday-Friday, on school days and the pay rate is $17.39-$19.13 per hour, based on experience. If needed, and the opportunity exists, the Door Monitor position could be a job share based on candidate's available hours.

Candidates with diverse racial, cultural, religious, class, and/or gender background and experiences are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Monitor the schedule of building events and keep track of individuals entering/leaving the school
• Sign visitors in and out ensuring that visitors have a legitimate reason for being in the building
• Follow protocols for visitors to the school
• May include administrative assistant work

Preferred Qualifications Include:

• Must be able to work on site
• Exhibits the values of Shrewsbury Public Schools
• Works flexibly in a changing environment
