Door Shop Assembler

Overview

Responsible for production and repairs of interior doors.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for quality, timely production of interior doors and door units.
• Assembly of interior door units.
• Take accurate measurements using various tools.
• Set and prepare specifications for machinery.
• Safely and efficiently handling, working on, and operating machinery.
• Repairs completed on millwork complaints.
• Door shop is to be kept orderly, neat, and clean at all times.
• Develop new and existing skills through educational programs with both company provided and self-directed training.
• Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 80 lbs.
• Experience on a propane Forklift, must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral form. Ability to use sound judgment and problem-solving skills to analyze customer needs and to recommend the proper course of action
