The Door-to-Door Sales Representative (or DSR) is a field-based role responsible for driving residential growth across fiber networks in the Maine area. This is a 6-month contract position focused on identifying prospective customers, explaining the benefits of high-speed fiber internet, and securing new service orders. As an ambassador for our networks, you will provide professional and empathetic communication to ensure a high-quality experience for every community interaction
Conduct daily door-to-door canvassing in assigned Maine territories to promote fiber internet services.
Identify prospective customers and provide accurate information regarding service availability, plans, pricing, and active promotions.
Process new service orders on-site and coordinate with the network operations team for activation.
Meet or exceed defined sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) during the 6-month term.
Maintain clear and complete documentation of all field interactions within the CRM or ticketing system.
Follow up on leads and inquiries generated through residential sales campaigns.
Categorize and prioritize follow-up visits based on customer interest and urgency.
Manage and track the status of pending installations to ensure customer satisfaction.
Communicate technical fiber concepts, including speed benefits and ONT placement, in clear, non-technical language.
Explain the advantages of fiber over legacy copper or cable connections to help customers understand the value of an upgrade.
Collaborate with the network operations and sales leadership teams to stay updated on infrastructure deployment in Maine.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience in door-to-door sales, retail sales, or customer-facing environments preferred.
Familiarity with the Maine geography and local communities is a strong plus.
Experience in telecommunications or internet services is beneficial

Schedule: Flexible hours required, including evenings and weekends, to maximize customer contact.
Transportation: Must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to reliable, dependable transportation to travel between various assigned territories throughout the Maine area.
Fast-paced environment requiring strong attention to detail and multitasking.
Starting hourly rate typically falls between $18–$22 depending on experience plus uncapped commission.
This position reports to the Marketing Manager or designated Leadership at LightCraft and works closely with the residential sales and network operations teams.
