About the PositionWe are looking for a dependable and hardworking Doors & Trim Delivery Driver to joinour team. This position is responsible for safely loading, transporting, and deliveringdoors, trim, millwork, and related building materials to job sites and customers.The ideal candidate is reliable, physically capable, safety-minded, and takes pride inproviding excellent customer service.ResponsibilitiesSafely load, secure, transport, and unload doors, trim, and building materials.Deliver materials to residential and commercial job sites throughout the servicearea.Inspect materials before loading and report any damage or discrepancies.Properly handle and protect doors, trim, and other finished materials duringtransportation.Assist with loading and unloading materials by hand or with appropriateequipment.Verify delivery quantities and obtain customer or job-site signatures whenrequired.Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and job-site personnel.Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle.Complete required delivery paperwork and/or electronic documentation.Follow all company safety procedures and applicable traffic laws.Perform other warehouse or material-handling duties as needed.QualificationsValid driver's license and a clean driving record.Previous delivery, construction, building-materials, or warehouse experiencepreferred.Ability to safely lift and carry heavy and oversized materials.Comfortable working outdoors and in changing weather conditions.Strong attention to detail when handling finished products.Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.Professional attitude and good communication skills.Ability to follow directions and meet delivery schedules.Physical RequirementsFrequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying.Ability to lift and move doors, trim, and other building materials.Ability to safely handle oversized or awkward materials with assistance whennecessary.
