Position Summary
The Director of Rehabilitation is responsible for the overall management, coordination, and supervision of rehabilitation services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and compliance with all regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for fostering a positive team environment.
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a current Texas license in one of the following disciplines:
- Physical Therapist (PT)
- Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
- Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Additional Requirements
- Current Texas state licensure in good standing
- Previous rehabilitation management or leadership experience preferred
- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and team-building skills
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and rehabilitation regulations
- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily rehabilitation operations
- Lead, mentor, and support therapy staff
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations
- Monitor productivity, clinical outcomes, and quality measures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
