Job Description
Qualifications: - Must be a Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD)
- Must be in good standing with continuing education credits with Medical Dosimetry Certification Board (MDCB)
- Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance
Responsibilities: - Able to perform general skills, in the level of acute care setting in the specialty with minimal orientation and supervision
- Provide external beam treatment planning for the delivery of radiation as prescribed by a physician
- Confer with the Radiation Oncologist to design and implement an optimal treatment plan
- Provide calculations to deliver prescribed dosses of radiation to the patient’s tumor volume
- Perform and document medical record quality checks
- Participate in patient localization, simulation, volume contouring, planning CT procedures and initial treatment
