The candidate will be supporting The Ohio Department of Transportation's Office of Data Governance to build and maintain geographic information system (GIS) applications to support ODOT's transportation asset management and data governance programs.
This position will function as a highly skilled CGA with specific responsibilities that include:
Providing support for enterprise GIS implementation (Developing and maintaining feature classes, web mapping applications, metadata creation, provide customer support)
Perform software testing and routine maintenance.
Assist with phone and online problem reporting and maintaining problem report records.
Monitor system status and data integrity
Support Data Governance project activities as assigned
Technical writing skills to create/update manuals and guides based off business needs

3. Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, the ability to manage time and resources to meet assigned deadlines.
5. Demonstrate proven experience in troubleshooting with little supervision.
7. Ability to translate business needs to ODOT's GIS systems
