Role: .NET Developer Location: Austin, TX Client: TX Dept. of Agriculture // Apex Systems Duration: Months Job Description: - Perform highly advanced (senior-level) computer programming work, including research, design, and implementation of web-based applications.
- Perform research and analysis required for specialized programs or routines to supplement and enhance front and back-end web-based applications software using HTML, HTML5, ASP.NET/C#
- Design, develop and implement specialized programs or routines to supplement and enhance front and back-end web-based applications software using HTML, HTML5, ASP.NET (Blazor)/C#.
- Write, test, evaluate, debug, and document complex programs, including client/server and web-based applications using C# (.Net), MVC, and/or SQL.
- Develop extensive SQL queries for performance tuning and legacy data migration
- Provide support of Texas Department of Agriculture applications software through diagnosis of problems and implementation of changes to resolve problems and maintain software at the most current level.
- Work closely and coordinate with other developers, business analysts, project leadership, and business areas to validate requirements and understand technical issues and limitations and model solutions that meet the functional and technical requirements.
- Recommend improvements and identify risks to processes for application development projects, as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned
