    As a DoW SkillBridge intern for ALLO, you must be a military service member who is in good standing, entering their final 180 days of their service, and is looking to gain skills and experience in the telecommunications industry. This individual will be participating in a DoD SkillBridge program that would allow them to receive on-the-job training and an internship with ALLO. As a partner to the DoW SkillBridge program, we can take your experience in the Armed Forces and help you transition to the next chapter in your professional life. Your skills (leadership, focus, loyalty, self-discipline) are uniquely suited to becoming the ideal team player at ALLO. The job profile for a DoW SkillBridge intern may vary depending on the specific field they are seeking to enter, but some common responsibilities and qualifications may include:

    RESPONSIBILITIES:Commit to providing an Exceptional and Hassle-Free outcome-oriented learning organization.Completing a military service contract and being eligible for the DoD SkillBridge programDemonstrating a strong understanding of telecommunications technology and the ability to learn new technologies quicklyPossessing excellent communication and customer service skillsBeing able to work well in a team environment and support fellow team membersHaving the ability to adapt to new environments and situations, including working in a fast-paced and constantly changing industryDemonstrating a commitment to professionalism and following company policies and proceduresMeeting any additional requirements specific to the telecommunications industry, such as holding a valid driver's license or obtaining certain certificationsMaintains a positive open demeanor, encourages different points of viewDemonstrates ALLO’s values: Local, Hassle Free, Honest, and ExceptionalOther duties and responsibilities as per needs of the business

    EDUCATION:High School Diploma or equivalentCurrently serving in the United States Armed Forces and in good standingApproved by both the DoW SkillBridge Program and Company Commander for entrance into the programEXPERIENCE:Military experience related to telecommunications, human resources, construction, IT, or marketing preferred but not requiredSKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:Service ExcellenceWritten and oral communication skillsWorking with MS Office ManagingMultiple Priorities Decision MakingCritical ThinkingPresentations and FacilitationTraining/DevelopmentHigh energy and engaging demeanorREQUIREMENTS:Raise objects up to 25 lbs.Remain upright on feet for extended periodsRemain stationary for extended periodsAbility to communicate informationAbility to crouch and crawlAbility to bend, kneel, standAbility to crawl in tight spacesAbility to ascend/descend a ladderAbility to carry tools and equipmentAbility to operate a computerAbility to operate hands tools and equipmentAbility to operate machineryAbility to work in outdoor weatherPossess a Valid driver's licenseApproved by DoW SkillBridge Program and Company Commander to participate in program
