Description
We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Downstream Manufacturing Associate for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Rockville, MD 20850. Details of the position are as follows:

- Pay: $23.50/hr to Start!!
- 3-month assignment, possibility for extension or conversion based on performance and budget.
- Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5pm
- Position will be mainly responsible for performing downstream GMP purification, including chromatography, TFF, ultracentrifugation, final formulation, and in-process sampling.
- Position will also be responsible for preparing buffers and solutions (up to 20L+) and operate manual, semi-automated, and automated manufacturing equipment.
- Position will also work in a cGMP cleanroom environment, following aseptic techniques, SOPs, BPRs, and equipment sanitization procedures.
- Position will also complete accurate batch records and GMP documentation while collaborating with manufacturing and cross-functional teams.
Qualifications:
- HSD/ AA with 0-2 years GMP downstream work experience OR BS in Science/Engineering with 0-1 years GMP downstream work experience is Required!
- Basic knowledge of downstream purification processes, including chromatography, TFF, and single-use mixing systems is Preferred!
- Experience with AKTA chromatography systems and purification approaches such as Affinity, IEX, and MMC is Preferred!
- Experience preparing buffers and operating manual or semi-automated production equipment is Preferred!
- Experience following, editing, or reviewing SOPs and Production Batch Records (BPRs); viral/vaccine or CMO manufacturing experience is Preferred!
