Support educational and career-oriented growth opportunities for DPS students by executing a comprehensive student internship program that focuses on Chromebook/hardware repairs

What You'll Do:
Support the development and implementation of a curriculum-based approach to teaching Chromebook/hardware repair
Coordinate with targeted high schools and relevant departments to market internship opportunities, review intern applications, and complete a semester-long hardware repair course with students
Provide real-time feedback, coaching, and mentoring to students throughout their internship experience
Support students in obtaining specified Chromebook certifications to allow them to complete both in and out-of-warranty Chromebook repairs; lead a weekly session with students to gain real world, hands-on experience on hardware repair
Support students in obtaining other academic-based credentials, including school credit and/or industry-recognized certifications related to hardware repair
Provide students with career outlook and other relevant information related to computer/ hardware repair jobs
Build partnerships with organizations who might seek to hire students upon completion of the internship and/or post-high school
