DPW Driver/Laborer

The Borough of Tenafly is seeking a driver/laborer to work within the Department of Public Works. Responsibilities include but are not limited to manual labor, recycling, road maintenance, sewers, buildings and grounds, vehicle maintenance, grass cutting, and snow plowing. Applicants should be prepared to perform duties in all weather conditions and work mandatory overtime. Mechanics experience working on trucks, air brakes as well as small engines and hydraulics preferred.  Applicants must possess a Class "B" CDL (Class "A" preferred). Hours are from 7:00 am - 3:00 pm, 35 hours per week. Must be available for weekend stand by and on call for emergencies.
