JOB REQUIREMENTS
- The Drafter 3 position requires 7-10 years of drafting experience.
- An associate’s degree in drafting and design is preferred.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Job responsibilities include working with 2D and 3D CAD to develop models and/or 2D drawings based on information provided by designers and engineers
- Revising existing 2D drawings to support plant retrofit projects
- Supporting with plant-site walkdowns to obtain field data and dimensional information for design purposes.
SKILLSETS and EXPERTISE
- Experience using CAD software and design tools
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication
- Knowledge of engineering design principles and standards
- Ability to lead a small project
- Commitment to quality, safety, and design excellence
- Ability to build effective relationships with plant staff, design engineering staff and/or vendors.
