DRAFTER | $20.00 - $31.00/hr - DOE

Full-Time | Monday - Friday | 7:00am – 3:30pm

Join a dynamic and collaborative engineering team as a Mechanical Drafter, specializing in SolidWorks, for a manufacturing company in Blue Earth, MN that has been building quality truck equipment since 1963. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy problem solving, thrive in a team oriented environment and are passionate about contributing to the development of high-quality products using industry-standard design tools.

What you’ll do:

• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure drafting assignments are on schedule and completed accurately
• Create and modify detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings and models using SolidWorks 
• Incorporate feedback and design changes by reviewing and revising drawings and projects as needed
• Prepare, maintain, and update technical documentation, including reports, drawings and specifications
• Utilize Microsoft Office 365 applications to track, organize and communicate project information effectively

What you’ll need:

• Experience with SolidWorks CAD and Simulation; CAD Certification is a Plus
• Understanding of manufacturing, hydraulics and assembly processes
• Experience with SolidWorks for mechanical drafting and 3D modeling
• Familiarity with metal fabrication processes, welding, material applications and structural engineering
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy in technical documentation, work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

What you’ll get:

• $20.00-$31/hr - DOE & Skillset
• Weekly pay – every Friday
