Description:
- 100% onsite at Muskegon - to interact with the engineering and construction teams that will be submitting red lined drawings
- Looking for someone who can come in and do some drawing updates (AutoCAD) and follow instructions for storing documents and drawings in the engineering file storage system (Autodesk Vault).
- Required to have a two year technical degree or equivalent certification.
- Required to experience preparing engineering facility drawings.
- Prepares engineering drawings to support conceptual designs developed by engineers.
- Required to have demonstrated proficiency using CAD software or other design software.
- Creates and updates sketches, working drawings and contract documents using Computer Assisted Design (CAD) software.
- Prepares 2D and 3D models.
- Must be able to read and comprehend detailed customer requirements, data sheets and supplier specifications.
- Requires familiarity with drafting techniques and engineering concepts and terminology.
- Able to read engineering drawing and blueprints.
- Prepares documentation to support design drawings.
- Often requires experience with the specific design application in use by client.
