The Mechanical Designer role is based in Milwaukee, WI, and is a 6+ month contract supporting new product development of high current and voltage power conversion and Motor Control Center products.
- Supports creation and updating of CAD drawings from sketches or notes, ensuring standards and manufacturability.
- Collaborates with engineers and peers to exchange information and suggest design improvements.
- Responsible for application, conception, creation, release, and support of industrial power control products under supervision.
- Develops CAD models, participates in design activities, and maintains ECN/ECR documentation.
- Requires 3+ years of experience with CAD software (CREO, Pro/E, AutoCAD), ability to handle large assemblies, and knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Experience with power distribution systems (240-690V AC), SAP, and reading engineering drawings is preferred.
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required.
